Custom Bumper

A custom bumper can be, at least theoretically, attached to any vehicle. However, trucks and off-road vehicles are the most commonly modified in this way. For the off-roader, there are several reasons to build your own bumper.

First, a custom bumper can be designed to give your 4X4 a better approach angle when trying to maneuver around different obstacles. This can be a real advantage, especially when moving through tight ravines and up sudden inclines. They are also much more capable of withstanding a heavy impact than a standard bumper.

A custom bumper can also be made to house a winch. Many people do not like to leave their winch exposed because they are expensive and much easier to steel when they are in the open. For this reason, bumpers are often made to surround the winch, thereby hiding it completely. You can get a custom bumper to match your custom rims or other customized parts.
