Bumper Lights

Bumper lights are common aftermarket accessories for today’s “street rides”. Amateur racers and car enthusiasts often use these and similar items to modify and customize their vehicles. There are many magazines and websites dedicated to these types of modifications.

Many new cars have bumper lights that are standard issue. This is especially true of high end vehicles and sports cars. In many cases, fog lights are incorporated into the bumper as well.

Truck owners often add bumper lights to their vehicles as well. On off-road vehicles, these are usually high-intensity flood lights and are mounted on the top of the bumper, rather than inside. These are used for additional lighting while in the wilderness at night.
